I study the physical environment of public schools and how it affects developmental, academic, and health outcomes. I am interested in social justice and how the physical environment reproduces or challenges existing social structure.
I am a lecturer at the Psychology Department of the College of Staten Island, City University of New York. I also teach for CUNY's School of Professional Studies and I am appointed at the Graduate Center of CUNY's Environmental and Earth Sciences Environmental Psychology concentration.
