About Me*I was born in San José, Costa Rica and attended the University of Costa Rica as an undergraduate student. I came to the United States thanks to a Fulbright Scholarship from the US Department of State and a second scholarship from New York University (NYU). I obtained a master's degree in community psychology from NYU and a doctorate in environmental psychology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
I am the first generation in my family to attend college, I am also an immigrant, and a non-native English speaker. I am fortunate to have my dream job as a lecturer at the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York. *Results not typical. |
